Also, I just committed to trying to become a better cook this year. Should be interesting.

I'll be watching and cheering for you. My kids got me a new computer with a freekin 24 inch screen for Christmas. Maybe now I'll start writing! Happy new year to you, LaVonne.

24 inches, that’s humongous! BTW, if you want some accountability for your writing, start a Substack. There’s nothing like a few subscribers to light a fire under you. ;-)

I have made the decision to leave Facebook, too. I simply cannot support Zuckerberg and his META platforms since he has kissed the ring of Trump and donated $1 million. It won't be easy but some of the people I follow and depend on for their views of current events (Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin and Heather Cox Richardson) have left or will be leaving as well. They are/will be available on YouTube. I have an account on Bluesky which should be a good replacement for following news and commentators I trust. Now to let my friends know and figure out new ways to stay in touch. You absolutely should focus on writing. If not now, when? These are times of big change; go with it.

If a man’s reach doesn’t exceed his grasp, then what’s a heaven for? Or something like that… you can’t hit every bullseye, but you sure won’t if you don’t draw the bow…

You've got a plan for 2025. Good vibes for your journey!

I, too, have disconnected from FB. Life is too short to support people like Zuckerberg.

⭐ Brava Bella, dear author, journalist, chef Ellis! So cool that your 'Big Mouth' has indeed Gone and Done It. Great that your telling it on the mountain has in fact sprinkled star seeds (spat 'em?). They're now opening to serendipitous nurturing from all sorts of intertwining resources -- within and all around thee, LaVonne, and 'between', too.

'Ahhhhh' ... truly *enjoy* a few calming breaths anytime, and softly lean back as you lean in (oh yes, you can!), ready to marvel at what ensues ... only gentlest control required.

Happy hugs to you -- and Happy 2025 ODAT! ⭐
